What Is It?
Supraorbital and infraorbital neuralgia are forms of facial pain caused by irritation, trauma, or entrapment of branches of the trigeminal nerve:
- The supraorbital nerve provides sensation to the forehead, scalp, and upper eyelid
- The infraorbital nerve supplies sensation to the cheek, upper lip, side of the nose, and lower eyelid
