1. Data controller

2. What data we process

  • Contact form: name, telephone number, email address, area of pain and the message you write to us. The area of pain is health data.
  • Reports that you send us by email so that we can review them before your first visit. They also contain health data.
  • Technical data needed for the website to work, such as your IP address. See the Cookie policy.

We ask you not to include your medical history in the form. If you would like us to review your reports, we will tell you how to send them to us.

3. What we use it for

  • To reply to your inquiry and contact you to schedule an appointment.
  • To review the reports you send us in order to assess whether our treatment may be suitable for you.

We do not use your data for any other purpose, nor to send you advertising without your consent.

  • Your consent when you submit the form or your reports (Article 6.1.a of the Reglamento General de Protección de Datos, RGPD, i.e. the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR).
  • Your explicit consent to process health data (Article 9.2.a of the GDPR).
  • The application of pre-contractual measures when you request an appointment (Article 6.1.b of the GDPR).

You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@barcelonacryocenter.com.

5. How long we keep it

We keep the data from the form and from your emails for a maximum of 90 days if you do not start any treatment, unless it is necessary to keep it longer in order to deal with your request. If you become a patient, your data becomes part of your medical record and is kept for the periods required by health regulations.

6. Who receives it

We do not pass your data on to third parties, except where required by law. To provide the service we use providers that process data on our behalf with the safeguards of the GDPR:

  • Website hosting: Netlify, Inc. (United States), which also stores the contact form messages
  • Email: one.com (Denmark)

If you book your appointment through Doctoralia, Doctoralia processes your data in accordance with its own privacy policy.

7. International transfers

Netlify, Inc. processes data in the United States. This international transfer is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

8. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to info@barcelonacryocenter.com. If you believe that we have not dealt with your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (Spanish Data Protection Agency, www.aepd.es).

9. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or alteration.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to adapt it to legal or operational changes. The current version will always be available on this page.
